Now the time has come to write my first review, so much indignation has accumulated from the interaction with TC SDEK (invoice number - 1048581426).

I ordered a bicycle for a child, the sender prepared the goods for shipment, offered to send them by PEC, or Business Lines, or any TC I want. I have already sent 2 times via SDEK and everything went more or less normally. The only thing is that the second time the box arrived as if after a bombing - all torn, dented, etc., to which the SDEK employee told me that the sender packed it poorly (“and we delivered it well”). But I thought, okay, it happens that the movers were not caught with a bang. And she personally asked to send it by SDEK, choosing the delivery method mainline express warehouse-warehouse - that is, the most budgetary one, it should have cost around 450 rubles in 3-4 days.

The sender sent the goods immediately - it was July 10th. July 12 - our EPIC began. SDEK calls me and asks if I am ready to receive the goods at home by courier within an hour. I was surprised because I ordered it to the warehouse, that is, to the office. I called the local shipping department myself - where they told me that they were delivering it to me using the express light warehouse-door method, which would cost me 2,748 rubles... Which is 5 times more expensive than the original one and is approaching the cost of the largest one. I'm shocked. I asked if it was possible to get to the office using the method I originally planned - to which I was told that it was possible to get to the office, but the tariff would remain the same (and the price too) - it could no longer be recalculated and you would have to sort it out with the sender. I called the sender, he was also shocked and promised to sort it out.

So as not to write for a long time - it was like this. The sender actually made a mistake when sending, the courier chose the wrong method (although the SDEK operator clearly poorly explained what this method was and how much it would cost the recipient). The sender did everything to resolve this situation - he wrote an appeal to SDEK to reduce the price to the rate I requested - for which SDEK promised to sort it out within 10 days (this is their time limit, within which they promise to deal with any request).

All this time, SDEK calls me from the local and Moscow offices several times a day to deliver the package to me, every day I patiently explain to all offices that I am in proceedings, etc., etc. In short, their offices are not connected in any way. There were cases when I called the local one and canceled the next delivery, and the Moscow one tried to deliver it without warning - the courier already called me at the door with the goods, but I was not at home. In short, all this gets on your nerves, to put it mildly) There is complete lack of coordination! When I tried to call and try to figure it out, they either mumbled incomprehensibly into the phone (we don’t know, we don’t know), or they abruptly cut me off with the phrase “I can’t help you.” Phone numbers where you can call either weren’t given at all, or they were given that you couldn’t get through to - either they were busy, or they didn’t answer the phone, and so on all day. There were cases when they promised to clarify everything and call me back, but they didn’t call me back. To sum it up - the customer service is USELESS. If you have an emergency situation, NO ONE WILL HELP YOU.

The sender calls me on July 24 - he says everything has been resolved, you can pick it up at the office for the original amount. I joyfully call the office to check if the parcel is there - where they tell me another good news - the amount has not been recalculated. I call the sender again - he is shocked again and promises to call back. He calls back and says that yesterday they said one thing, today somehow everything was reset to zero and I promise to give an answer in a week. Ok, we'll wait another week. We didn’t receive the promised answer a week later - and SDEC said that somehow our application date was not July 12, but July 28 (!!???!!!) and they would sort it out within 10 days...

As a result, the sender decided differently - I took the goods for 2652 (I don’t know where the 100 rubles went), and he compensates me for the difference. I picked up the goods on August 2, almost a month has passed.

To summarize, I will say this - the sender ( [link]) behaved well, constantly contacted me and informed me how the proceedings were progressing, apologized a hundred times and in the end decided everything in my favor. The SDEK company is just a dense forest where nothing is clear, every new operator makes a point, it is IMPOSSIBLE to solve the problem, they get on your nerves and do nothing. Yes, the sender made a mistake, but if the SDEK company does not make such recalculations, does not meet halfway, it was necessary to say this right away, and not get on everyone’s nerves for so long, constantly postponing the date of the decision.

Conclusion: SDEC has an inadequate support service. Thank you all for your attention!
