Check Fiennes. How can you check the authenticity of a cash receipt? Updating and approval of the Policy

The document issued by cash register equipment when making cash payments is called a cash receipt. This is also a type of form strict reporting. Therefore, the authenticity of this document is extremely important both for the entrepreneur himself and for his clients. New online cash registers, which entrepreneurs have been switching to since 2017, provide the ability to verify the authenticity of a check and send a copy to the specified address Email.

How can you check whether the check in your hands or on the screen is real? All you need to do is follow simple instructions.

Who may need to verify the authenticity of a check?

Establishing the authenticity of a strict reporting document is important for all participants in the business process, but for each of them for their own reasons.

  1. Clients (buyers) receive documentary evidence of the legality of their purchase. This may be required to implement a product warranty or other rights of the client as a consumer.
  2. Staff point of sale must be confident in the reliability of electronic documentation and check issued checks from time to time in order to track possible malfunction in the operation of the program or the cash register itself.
  3. Business owners In their own interests, they must control the authenticity of the checks issued to customers, because if irregularities in the cash register are discovered, they will have to pay a fine, and interruptions in receiving checks will be a good reason for conducting a tax audit.
  4. Tax authorities based on received online receipts are tracked financial movement funds in the trading process, controlling taxpayers.

Appearance of the “correct” check

One way to verify the authenticity of a cash receipt can be to check the details given on it with the requirements that apply to the information on such documents. Mandatory data for regular cash register:

  • cost of goods or services;
  • date of purchase or service provision;
  • time when the check is issued;
  • serial number of the cash document;
  • name of the organization or name of the individual entrepreneur;
  • factory (registration) number of the cash register;
  • tax regime mark.

Mandatory data for online cash register, in addition to those listed:

  • name, quantity of goods (services provided), price per unit of measurement;
  • discounted price (if applicable);
  • form of payment and payment method - cash or bank card;
  • the place where the payment was made (address of the store, website, car number, etc.);
  • fiscal drive model number;
  • shift check number;
  • calculation attribute (receipt, return of receipt, expense, return of expense);
  • Full name of the cashier who issued the check (except for online payments);
  • , bid;
  • information about the amount of discount and/or VAT;
  • work shift number.

If at least one of the required details is not on the check, and this is discovered by the entrepreneur, you should stop accepting cash at this cash register. An exception is the issuance of a check in places remote from the Internet: there the absence of 3 details directly related to the online transfer is allowed.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION! Individual entrepreneurs using the taxation system may not indicate the name of their goods and their quantity on the receipt until 2021 (except for excisable products).

IMPORTANT! The design of the check does not matter: the font and location of specific details are not important, the main thing is that they are clear and readable for at least six months.

Online check verification: step-by-step instructions

The legality of the check can be checked by visiting the Federal Tax Service website. This cannot be done on the portal itself, but there is a mobile version that can be installed on any Android or iOS device. This is done as follows.

  1. On the official website of the INFS, find the application called “Checking a cash receipt” - it is located in the section “ New order applications cash register equipment».
  2. Download the application for free and install it on your mobile device.
  3. Log in. This needs to be done once - the first time you start the program. The application prompts you to enter your last name and phone number/email address. It’s better not to experiment and enter real data, although no one checks it, if you are going to use the functionality for its intended purpose, in particular, to receive copies of receipts to your email address.
  4. Manually enter the cash receipt data into the fields provided for this application or scan the QR code.
  5. Click "Submit Request".
  6. Wait for the system to respond about the status of this check in the Federal Tax Service database.
  7. A check with confirmed correctness can be sent to your email, and the printed copy will have the force of the original.
  8. If the answer is unsatisfactory (the data does not match or such a check is not found at all), you can click affirmatively on the system’s offer to send this information to the Federal Tax Service.

Online check on the website of the fiscal data operator

It is also possible to check the correctness of a cash document on other portals; almost every fiscal data operator website contains a form for verification. Unlike the INFS service, which checks all receipts, each specific portal provides for reconciliation with the database only of its own clients. Each check contains information regarding the servicing of certain OFDs - you need to check the authenticity of the check on the specified resource:

  1. Find on the receipt information about the website of the servicing OFD.
  2. Enter the portal.
  3. Enter the required details. OFD verification systems provide for entering a smaller number of check details than the Federal Tax Service portal. Among them most often:
    • serial number of the fiscal drive (on the receipt it is indicated by the abbreviation FN);
    • fiscal sign (it is hidden behind the letters FPD or FP);
    • fiscal document number (comes after the letters FD).
  4. Submit your request. If the check is correct, you will receive an electronic copy of it.
  5. If desired, send a copy of the receipt to your email.

ATTENTION! Fiscal data operators do not control their clientele, they only provide information. Therefore, you cannot complain about the unreliability of a check from this service.

False negative result

If the requested check is not found in the Federal Tax Service or OFD database, this does not mean that the document is fake. The system does not exclude the possibility in rare cases of issuing a negative result, which may occur as a result of one of the reasons:

  • lack of Internet connection (data accumulates on the drive, but is not transferred);
  • CCT malfunctions;
  • failure of the online cash register printer;
  • the details were entered incorrectly (one or more);
  • the request was sent to the wrong OFD website (the other operator does not have data about the check issued by a cashier other than his “ward”).

If the cash register is out of order, the receipt data will not be sent until it is repaired. If the violations are serious and correction of the cash register is impossible, the law provides for contacting the manufacturer, who will remove the information memory and deliver it to the Federal Tax Service. In this case, the accumulated receipts will appear in the corresponding databases only after a few months.

Check issued cash receipt can be done using a special application developed by the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation for the popular operating systems Android and iOS. The application allows you to check the legality of the issued document, the integrity of the seller, the fact that the check was sent to tax authority and a number of other useful functions, such as storing verified documents and printing an electronic version of a cash receipt.

After switching to new cash registers consumers have the opportunity to check the receipt received in a program developed by the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation.

Note: You can check the receipt through the fiscal data operator, on the website of the Federal Tax Service and the State Scientific Research Center.

Checking checks for authenticity online with a special application is done by downloading the program to your phone or tablet and entering (scanning the Q-code) the data received.

IN currently implemented the ability to install free program based on popular operating systems Android and iOS.

  • After the application information has been viewed (skipped), the program will automatically launch the camera to check the QR code of the document.

  • Based on the results of the check, you will receive a message stating that the check is correct.

  • If you need to check a document that does not have a QR code (), or if the QR code cannot be read, you can enter the details of the cash document manually. To do this, click “Check receipt” and select “Enter manually” at the bottom.

Then we enter information about the cash document (for ease of data entry, the information that needs to be taken from the check is marked with numbers).

If the document is correct, the message “Receipt is correct” will be displayed (see above).

If the information is entered incorrectly or the document is incorrect, the following message appears:

After receiving the specified message, you can try to enter the data again: if the result is the same, you should report this fact to the Federal Tax Service.
