How much can I order goods on Aliexpress in Belarus per month without customs duties? Restriction, limit of purchases on Aliexpress in Belarus per month: rules. What is the tax on orders with Aliexpress in Belarus? What is the maximum order amount, how much

As a rule, it does not raise questions from users. But there are some nuances. The fact is that when crossing the border, goods go through customs control and for duty-free import you need to keep within certain limits. Let's discuss with you what is the maximum amount currently applicable to purchases with Aliexpress for residents of Belarus.

  • Tobacco products... Usually on Aliexpress You can find various hookah tobacco, for example, if you look very well for other smoking mixtures.
  • Seeds and Plants. You've probably seen that on the site you can buy seeds of plants and flowers, or even the plants themselves. So, do it carefully, as otherwise you can earn a lot of problems.
  • Weapons, spare parts, ammunition. Well, you will definitely not find supplies in the form of grenades and similar weapons, but various knives, spare parts for weapons, for example, optical sights and other interesting things are sold here.
  • Gems and diamonds. No, you can buy jewelry, of course, but if you want to buy a separate stone, which is unlikely, since they cannot be found on Aliexpress, then the customs will not let him through.
  • Spy's equipment. Here the question is somewhat controversial, since such equipment can include voice recorders, cameras, communication jammers, and so on. Sometimes even telephones and similar equipment are not allowed through. Nevertheless, the legislation is becoming more adequate and many things are missed, but it is possible that when ordering the same GPS tracker for a child, you will not have any problems. It is not known what it depends on, probably on the adequacy of the customs officer, but still be prepared for anything.

As for such goods as food, dietary supplements, sports nutrition and other prohibited goods, then there are Aliexpress simply no.

In addition, if you decide to buy a product from one of the forbidden categories for your country, then it is better to consult with the seller. If he is engaged in delivery to your country, then he certainly knows how to do it and will share information that is interesting to you.

How is the cost of a parcel from Aliexpress estimated at customs in Belarus?

It is very important for each buyer that the cost of the parcel is estimated correctly, since if it becomes necessary to pay the duty, then no one will want to overpay. Still as an option, the buyer on Aliexpress I ordered exactly $ 22 and if the customs assessed the parcel more, then again you will have to pay or prove that the price of the goods is less.

So how do employees estimate the cost of a package? First of all, the seller should indicate its price directly on the sticker. If the customs officer thinks that the price is too low, he will evaluate it on his own. Customs has its own price for each product. All goods are collected in a special catalog, and the employee relies on a certain one. The same will be done if the cost is not indicated.

If you are not satisfied with the cost estimate, then you can contact the customs union and provide them with documentation confirming that the cost of the goods is lower. This can be a receipt for payment, an invoice, and other documents.

How to order a lot on Aliexpress to Belarus and not pay a duty?

  • If you do not need expensive goods, then try to keep within the limit of 22 euros, and if there is a need to buy more, then try to negotiate with relatives or friends to buy with them. In general, according to the rules, it is not forbidden to order to one address, but to different names. This situation will allow you not to pay the duty for Aliexpress in Belarus, since the limit is calculated for each person, and not for a specific address.
  • Do not be afraid to ask sellers to indicate a smaller amount on the package, as they always go to a meeting. But remember that customs control all parcels and if it seems to employees that the price is greatly understated, they will independently determine the price of the goods.
  • When ordering goods, you can use the services of delivery services through Russia or Kazakhstan, for which the limit is much higher. That is, first your product will arrive in one of these countries, and only then after processing it will be sent to you. It should be noted that the services of companies are not free. Some take a fixed amount, while others take a percentage of the order. You can find such intermediaries on the Internet in a couple of minutes.

Video: Customs limits on parcels in Belarus

Good mood to you all! In this article, we will try to calculate the permissible customs duties for parcels from China to Belarus. Although, in principle, this information will be relevant for all international postal items imported into our blue-eyed country.

And I must say that there is not much to rejoice here, since the duty-free import from April 2016 began to amount to only 22 euros per capita population in one calendar month. The weight should not exceed 10 kilograms.

Now let's consider the case when the price of goods ordered from abroad is higher than the allowable duty-free limit. Well, for example, we wanted to buy such a phone:

In this situation, things will be like this. First of all, the declared value must be converted into euros at the exchange rate at the time of registration of the parcel in the country of destination. In our case, it will look like this:

Then we apply the standard formula: € 66.21 (value of goods) - € 22 (allowable limit) x 30% + € 5 (fixed customs duty). As a result, we get a figure of 18.26 euros, which must be paid in addition.

Therefore, it turns out that the Chinese phone is already breaking the bank. Let's calculate again: 66.21 euros (original cost) + 18.26 euros (customs duty) = 84, 47 euros or 89 US dollars:

These are the pies, dear readers. Now about where to pay customs duties and whether it is possible not to pay them at all. There are no particular problems here. We pay for the whole thing in our post office upon receipt of the parcel.

If the final price of the goods, taking into account the accrued duties, does not suit us, then quite calmly we refuse to take such a shipment and that's it. In this case, the item will be sent back to the seller.

This is completely legal and no one has the right to force us to pay the full cost. If in the end it turned out to be unprofitable, then we simply renounce such happiness and calmly go home:

Another important nuance that you should know when ordering parcels from China and: the cost of delivery and insurance when calculating duties by the customs of Belarus are not taken into account. Only the price of the product itself is taken into account.

Also, you should not buy several pieces of the same name at a time. In this case, the order can be accepted as a commercial batch and, again, additional payments will be charged.

And, in general, there is a list of goods that under no circumstances can be sent by mail. We recommend that you read carefully so that in the future there are no problems with the customs authorities:

But as they say, this is a completely different story. And our story about how to correctly calculate for parcels from China to Belarus has come to its logical conclusion.

If you have any questions, ask them in the comments to the article. We will solve them together. And now you can watch another educational video about geniuses.

The EAEU proposes a gradual equalization of limits on goods for personal use sent in international mail and express cargo. Deputy Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Irina Narkevich announced this at a round table on electronic commerce on June 8.

Equalization of limits is a matter of discussion of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Irina Narkevich clarified.

Previously, the site that the EEC proposes to reduce the limits on international mail from abroad to the territory of the EAEU. It is proposed to reduce the norms to 500 euros and 31 kilograms per calendar month from January 1, 2019 to one individual, from January 1, 2020 - to 200 euros and 31 kilograms.

According to Irina Narkevich, the introduction of limits of up to 200 euros is a premature decision today.

“We consider this issue, having discussed it with the business community, including large Internet platforms and Internet associations, and representatives of domestic enterprises, premature,” said Irina Narkevich.

Recall that the limits on parcels from abroad and from abroad were on April 14, 2016. The reason for the tightening of the limits for duty-free import of goods was a significant increase in the volume of import of goods on a commercial scale to individuals without paying customs duties. Last year, Belarusians received 12.7 million international postal items, and only 1% of them, according to the State Customs Committee, exceeded the limit of 22 euros. For exceeding the limits, Belarusians last year 2.4 million rubles.

According to Irina Narkevich Since the introduction of limits on parcels, Belpochta has lost a fairly large amount of money.

We knew that there would be a redistribution of goods flows to the territory of Russia - the post offices of the Bryansk and Smolensk regions are now actively working for Belarus. Therefore, the post office is now actively initiating the return of the previous amounts of limits, - said the Deputy Minister.

The return to the € 200 per month limit will take place gradually until 2019. As Irina Narkevich notes, an instant return to the previous amounts is impossible. The deputy minister also does not name specific dates for raising the limits:

Now there is a discussion of this issue together with the State Customs Committee. They proposed this option: so that the total amount of parcels per month does not exceed 200 euros, and the cost of one remains at 22 euros. That is, a person will be able to order more things duty-free.

Now in 2020, the so-called tax on parcels from China and other countries to Belarus is working accurately and 100% debugged. The only good news is that on December 22, 2018, Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 490 "On Customs Regulation", which slightly improved the situation for shopaholics.

The new law increases the monthly rate of duty-free import of goods into Belarus for personal use in international mail from 22 euros and 10 kg to 200 euros and 31 kg (in total), while maintaining the one-time rate of one item at 22 euros and 10 kg.

So how much can I buy from abroad?

One-time limitation for one parcel remains the same - up to 22 euros !!! But in total for a month such parcels can be ordered for 200 euros without consequences.

Orders that do not meet the established limit are not prohibited, but the amount exceeding this limit is subject to customs tax. In addition, it will become mandatory to pay a fixed customs fee, usually in the amount of five euros.

What will happen to me if I have exceeded the limits of orders from Aliexpress and other foreign stores?

Payments for parcels to individuals that exceed the total norm of 200 euros per month are considered commercial consignments and are therefore subject to a customs duty of 30% of the excess price.

And don't get confused! Additionally, you must pay also a customs fee. Its value depends on the type of product. For example, you need to pay an extra 5 euros for a phone (and for most of your orders the surcharge will be just that).

Parcel duty calculator

Our calculator of customs duties on parcels will easily help you calculate the amount of tax for the rate of one shipment in the amount of 22 euros and 10 kg (not to be confused with the new total monthly limit of 200 euros).

Just indicate the price for the package and its weight. Please note that all calculations are provided for informational purposes only.

Also, the calculation of customs tax can be easily calculated manually without a calculator for parcels from abroad:

  • For example, the price of a parcel is 100 euros and the weight is 2 kg (no more than 10 kg);
  • Excess: 100 - 22 = 78 euros;
  • 30% of the amount received is 23.4 euros;
  • Customs fee - 5 euros;
  • The total duty on the parcel will be: 23.4 + 5 = 28.4 euros.

If there is an excess in weight, and not in value, it will be even easier to calculate: 4 euros per 1 kg in excess of 10 allowed. All these restrictions apply to any foreign online stores: Aliexpress, EBay, ASOS, Amazon, iHerb, Shein and many others.

Where and how to pay tax on parcels in Belarus?

You can check with the postal operator about customs payments. The fee is paid at the very point of issue of RUE "Belpochta".

Limits and duties on parcels in Belarus are a kind of protection of the domestic market from the cheapest imports from China, the USA and other countries. Plus a way of taxing citizens who purchase goods for commercial purposes.

These limits are directed against foreign online stores, so that it was unprofitable to order on the same Aliexpress in Belarus. Moreover, all parcels from far abroad are in this position (even gifts from relatives from abroad are subject to a fee).

The Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich spoke about the dangers of foreign postage to the country's economy and that it is illegal enrichment. Such statements have met with a lot of criticism, because most of the imported products in Belarus are not produced and are not even sold.

In the end, they remembered about the "transparency" of the internal borders of the Customs Union. Recipients of consignments of commercial goods or expensive parcels will order them to Russia or another CU country and pay for the shipment to Belarus.

We warn you that deliberately reducing the cost of a parcel is a thankless task. Customs owns the price range of many popular goods!

How to track a parcel from China (and other countries) to Belarus? On the official website of Belpochta there is such an opportunity.

All registered foreign and local mail items are tracked using a special track number.

Marking postal codes:

  • R — BY (Rx012345675BY) - small correspondence;
  • C — BY (Cx012345675BY) - standard package;
  • E — BY (Ex012345675BY) - international express mail EMS;
  • A — BY (Ax012345675BY) - our internal mail of the Republic of Belarus.

It is very easy to track a parcel on the Belpochta website. Either immediately follow this link: https://webservices.belpost.by/searchRu.aspx, or find the item "Tracking mail items" in the left menu and click on it.

On the page that opens, there is a form for entering the parcel shipment number. We enter the track number obtained on the website of a foreign or local online store and press the "Search" button.

When do I have to pay the fee?

If in the status of the parcel there is an inscription "For transfer to the customs, it is necessary to clarify the data", you will have to specify detailed information in the "Form for filling" field, otherwise the shipment will be sent back to the seller. These data are needed by customs when accounting for shipments received by an individual from abroad within a month within the limit of 200 euros.

Information about customs checks and charging fees (30% of the excess of the limit plus 5 euros for paperwork) will be available on a new page.

Watch the video below: How are parcels from abroad checked?

Paid storage of parcels

From February 1, 2018, Belpochta branches will charge a fee for storing international mail. Information about this is published on their official website.

In case of non-demand for any international parcel for more than 7 calendar days at the branches of Belpochta, you need to pay 0.36 Bel. rubles. for every day of delay.

As you know, the duty-free import of parcels from abroad to Belarus is limited by a one-time rate of one shipment in the amount of 22 euros and 10 kg. And in total a month up to 200 euros and 31 kg.

There are 3 popular options to avoid this limit.

1. Asking the seller to indicate a lower price for goods

You can just agree. And the sender will indicate the lowest value for the item. For example, $ 20 for a Chinese phone with a real value of $ 150.

But keep in mind that customs officials evaluate the parcel in their own way. They calculate the average price of the goods in the country where the parcel came from, and set the current price tag. In this case, an examination will be appointed.

And after it, you still have to pay the customs duty on the parcel to Belarus from the same Aliexpress or the American Ayherb. But to do this, they will have to open every parcel, which will delay processing for years to come. Nobody will do that!

2. Order parcels to friends in another country

You can also consider an order for a resident (relative or friend) of the country of the Customs Union (,), who will send it to you from there. And these costs will be much lower than the duty.

Or, order a parcel to the Russian branch "on demand" somewhere in the border zone of the Smolensk or Bryansk regions. Thus, you can bypass the Belarusian limit. A very popular method, especially among those who live near Russia.

3. Mail Forwarding came to Belarus together with AlmostPochta

Mail Forwarding (or “Your address abroad”, hereinafter abbreviated as MF) is a service of using the warehouse address of an intermediary company when making a purchase abroad on your own. It is paid, but its price is much less than the fee. Note, the address is selected in the countries of the Customs Union in order not to pay tax.

Before using one of the tips, remember a simple rule: any attempt to get around the law can turn into trouble.
